Making 7-Way to Camper Shell Third Brake Light Adapter

Question:

I have a 2019 Chevrolet 2500 hd with duramax engine I add m going to be putting on a leer truck cap . If I buy a fifth wheel 7 pin connector for that plugs in th o existing 7 pin bumper connector then run it up and mount it into bed then to get center high mounted brake light on cap tp work do I use a pacer logic module and hook it to my 7 pin wiring in truck bed and to the cap light

You can use 7-way trailer wiring with the module part # PP20-702 to provide power to the third brake light of your camper shell/cap. Basically the stop/turn circuits of the trailer wiring need to run to the yellow wires of this module and then the green wire goes to the third brake light.

For an 8 foot 7-way plug and lead you'd want the part # 277-000143. The wire colors of this you'd run to the module are red and brown.
