Roof Rack Recommendation for Leer Camper Shell with Roof Tracks

Question:

My truck came with a fiberglass Leer topper. It has rails for feet and crossbars to be mounted. Im told the rails are designed for Thule crossbars. Can you direct me to the proper feet and crossbars?

Hey Steve, so the tracks on the top of your camper shell were designed to fit several roof rack brands but the best option overall and for the money is the Rhino Rack roof rack for camper shell tracks part # Y02-490B-NT as this gives you a higher quality roof rack that fits the channels directly that also doesn't cost nearly as much as the similar quality racks.

Jamison, I have another question pertaining to the cross bars. Is there another single rack that I could mount on my trucks roof to allow for longer toys carried? It would need to match the height of the camper shell bars. And, in addition, what components are available for attaching to the crossbars for specialty equipment, ie, kayaks, skis, etc.? Thank you
