Does Install of Curt X5 Adapter C16210 Require Trimming of Bed Liner

Question:

How can I adjust my adapter or gooseneck to allow the pins to line up correctly. I believe the bed liner is causing it to sit slightly higher than it should be, or the adapter plate is slightly bent to where gooseneck slide sits to high. I do not want to cut out any of my bed liner to make this work correctly.

The Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter # C16210 that you referenced does require that the bed liner be trimmed out of the way so that it can fit properly. Since you have a bed liner and yours doesn't want to fit properly you'll need to trim it so that it can fit.
