Question:
Some of the hardware dimensions arent given, so Im struggling to see if this will fit. Im doing a cargo conversion with a 16foot Diamond V-nose trailer. I dont have much real estate on the front frame. The inside frame dimension to the ball hitch is right at 30.5. Will the width of the frame brackets be too wide and cause the mounting to be inside the 28.5inch minimum or will the length of the spring bars impact the outer skin the trailer and limit my turning radius?

In regards to the Husky Center Line Weight Distribution Systems like part # HT32216, the distance from the center of the coupler where the hitch ball sits to the center of the frame brackets which are 2-1/2" wide will need to be between 28-1/2" to 30-1/2". I have attached a photo of this for you to give you a visual. If the brackets are further back than 30-1/2" then you run the risk of the spring bars falling out during tight turns but if they are closer than 28-1/2" then you run the risk of the spring bars hitting the trailer frame during tight turns. I would say you have about 1/4" of room with the above before you start to run into issues.
If you do not have space in the above location then you would need to look into a chain style system instead, the Reese Weight Distribution System part # RP66540 with the Chain Hangers for Reese Weight Distribution Systems part # RP58305. For a hitch ball you can use part # A-90 or part # 19286.
