Question:

Why do I not have power to the new four pole factory connection harness to my trailer hitch wiring? Do I need relays, fuses? I tried some fuses and still had no power... Help....

On the Nissan Frontier and other Nissan vehicles, if the vehicle did not come with a factory tow package it will not have a functioning wiring harness even if one, like # 118263, is added. There will be relays that will need to be inserted to make the trailer wiring harness fully functional.

If your Nissan did not come with a factory tow package, you would need to use wiring harness # C56225. This harness comes with the relays needed and the wiring required to make everything functional. I have included a link to the installation details for you.

Will a Curt #56225 work on a 2024 nissan frontier or do I need aTekonsha # 118525? Already bought the Curt 56225. Keep getting mixed answers from people. Don't want to send the Curt back but will if I really need the Tekonsha. Please help!
