I do have a solution for you but there is no way that you can fill the propane tank on your motorhome with a portable propane tank safely. We recommend having a professional fill your propane tanks.
Instead what you can use is an extended stay tee kit like part # CAM59125 which allows you to connect a portable propane tank directly in-line with your motorhome propane system so that you don't have to pack everything up just to fill the tank that stays on your motorhome. Just use the quick-disconnect port with the included hose to connect your portable tank and you're good to go! The hose comes with a quick disconnect for the tee and then a Type 1 connection which will connect to the vast majority of tanks out there (they just have to have internal threads for the connection).
