Question:
I have a 16k reese hitch # 30047. I bent the handle and actuating rod. I ordered parts #30579 actuaction rod #58054 klip rings and #58055 handle. Is this sufficient for replacing the actuating rod? Also can you provide me with the steps or instructions for replacing the rod. How difficult is this? Is there anything special I need to know?

Yes, everything you ordered is correct for replacing the handle and actuating rod of your Reese hitch part # RP30047.
The part # 58055 is the handle.
Part # 30579 is the actuating rod.
Part # 58054 is the klip rings.
There are no written instructions for replacing the rod. But you will have to remove the head of the hitch and turn it over to get more access to the internal parts. I have included an exploded diagram of a Reese 16K hitch, # RP30047, that might help. It's not an overly difficult process at all.
