Question:

i need some new springs for a fifth wheel hitch older dated 02 29 07 hitch marked 30049 which spring do i need I am guessing that it is not signature

You are correct in saying that you do not have a Reese Signature series 5th wheel.

As such, the correct replacement spring is the Replacement Spring for Reese and Draw-Tite Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitches, part # 30776. This spring is for use with the 14K, 15K, 16K, 20K, 22K, and 30K models, which your 30049 is a 15K model. So, this will work for you.
