Question:

Will the head from a BandW 18k slider fit the 20k companion ? I have a complete 18k slider and bought a new truck with the BandW turn over ball already installed. I would like to buy just the 20k companion base and use the head off the 18k slider.

I do have an option for you but the Head Assembly for B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # BWRVC3200 will not work with the Base for B&W Companion Slider 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # BWRVB3405 or part # BWRVB3500. The B&W Patriot and B&W Companion use a different head and they are not cross compatible.

Therefore, your best option is to sell the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider part # BWRVK3270 that you have now so you can then obtain the B&W Companion Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # BWRVK3400 or part # BWRVK3500.
