I looked up the towing capabilities of your 2014 Ford Edge Limited and if you have the 2.0L with the EcoBoost your towing capacity is 1,500 lbs but if you have the 3.5L V6 your towing capacity is 3,500 lbs. Either way you will need to look for a lighter camper to tow as the dry weight of 4,639 lbs is well over both weight ratings.
According to the online version of the owner's manual (page 238) for any trailer weighing over 1,500 lbs you need to use a brake controller. I recommend using the Curt Echo # C51180 which plugs into the 7-Way on your Edge and allows you to adjust the various settings via your Apple or Android smart device. I have attached a review video that you can reference.
