How Far Down Does the Receiver Tube Sit on the Draw-Tite Hitch 76288 for a 2019 BMW X5

Question:

I was just wondering if you had any other better pictures of the Curt hitch installed on that 2019 X5. From the one posted on the website, I cannot tell how far down the receiver sticks out from under the rear bumper. I am considering spending more for an invisible hitch. From an aesthetic standpoint, how far down the Curt hitch goes is important to me.

The only trailer hitch we have listed as a confirmed fit for your 2019 BMW X5 at this time is from Draw-Tite, not Curt. For this, you will want to use the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76288. This hitch is a direct fit which means no drilling is required. Unfortunately, I don't have any good photos for you at this time that shows how far down the receiver tube opening is located below the rear bumper fascia but I do have a measurement that will help with this.

The distance from the top set of bolt holes to the top of the receiver tube on the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver is 12". Therefore, if you measure from these holes on your vehicle to the bottom edge of the bumper fascia you will be able to get a good idea of how far down it will sit.
