Yes, you can replace the Replacement Spring Kit for Power Gear Jack part # LC359434 on your Power Gear Jack all by yourself so long as you have basic tools. Basically, you just need to unscrew the top bolt and then unhook the opposite end from the foot plate. You can then install the new spring doing the opposite of the above with the new hardware. The spring will not be under any tension while retracted so no need to worry about it shooting off the jack.
