2012 ram 1500 with 4.5 lift. what air bags and spacers do I need?

The air bags for that work with your 2012 Ram 1500 are the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57365, though you will need to measure to ensure that you have the right amount of space to use air bags. To do this, measure from your jounce bumper strike plate to the vehicle frame; that measurement should be 8-1/8" in order for air bags to fit your truck. If you take a look at the accompanying photo you can see exactly where you need to measure.

In regards to your 4-1/2" lift, that will also require you to do some measuring and there is a diagram I added from Air Lift what you will need to measure to ensure the correct spacer kit. You will need to measure the total distance between the mounting surfaces, and subtract that by 5-1/2", which is "A", the air spring design height for these air bags. That will give you the correct lift spacer, which is most likely going to be the Air Lift Lock-N-Lift Spacers for Lifted Vehicles - 4" Lift # AL52440.
