Question:
I am looking for the best 5th wheel hitch for my 2019 Nissan TItan XD with the factory gooseneck. I have a short bed so I know I need a slider. What do you think would be the best hitch for me to put in there?

The best fifth wheel hitch for your 2019 Nissan Titan XD short bed with the factory gooseneck is the Demco Hijacker Autoslide because you will never again need to get out of your truck just to make a turn, making your towing experience much more convenient. It also has a highly secure jaw system which ensures a complete, secure connection to your trailer's king pin as well as its cushioned head which will give you a smoother and quieter ride while towing.
The Hijacker will mount onto the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Nissan Titan XD OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package # DM6200 and is available in two different towing capacities, 18,000 lbs at part # DM8550034 and 21,000 lbs at part # DM8550035.
The auto-slide feature on the Hijacker is one of those features that you'll think back on one day and ask yourself why anybody uses a hitch with a manual slider. You will never have to hop out of your truck and deal with blistering heat or a downpour of rain just so you can make a tight turn. As fantastic as the auto-slide is, that isn't the only thing that makes the Demco fifth wheel the best option for your '19 Titan XD.
The single-piece jaw on the Hijacker provides wraps completely around your king pin and this connection is reinforced via a 3/4" solid steel bar that locks into place once the jaw is closed. This solid connection and the cushioned dampeners on the hitch minimize the noise as well as the chucking - back and forth movement in the hitch when you start and stop - that you would experience with a lesser hitch.
Both Hijackers, the 18,000 lb model # DM8550034 and 21,000 lb model # DM8550035 give you 14 inches of front-to-back travel for optimal cab clearance, have three different height settings (15-1/2", 16-3/4", and 18-1/4") to help tow your trailer level, and are made in the USA.
If you need to add an in-bed wiring harness to your truck I recommend the Demco 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness # DM8555002 which will plug into your factory 7-way.
I have added links to video reviews of the hitch, adapter and harness for you to check out as well.
