Question:
The Achilles heel with the Raptor is the soft Fox racing shocks and the 500lb max tongue weight Limitation. Looking to pull a 7x14 dual axle Aluminum ATV trailer with 2 full size ATVs arranged in a “T” configuration. Is this possible with a weight distributing hitch keeping the 500lb tongue weight limit in mind?

Yes, you can use a weight distribution system on your 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor. However, you will need to make sure the trailer hitch is rated for use with a weight distribution system. For one that is, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C86HR which is a direct fit so no drilling is required and it will exceed the weight limitations of your vehicle.
For a weight distribution system, there are few better than the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System part # EQ37061ET which has four point sway control. Since your F-150 Raptor sits a bit higher than most pickup trucks, you will also need a drop shank, the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank part # EQ90-02-4200 will most likely have you covered.
The other option you have to help prevent rear end squat while towing is to use the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit part # RAS3611. We get a lot of great feedback from customers using this system. The main benefit that this system has over the above is that you don't have to set it up each time. It can also be adjusted for more or less tension.
Please make sure to contact the trailer manufacturer to see if they recommend using a weight distribution system.
