Wanted to double check to see if the holes match between the Replacement 2inch and 2-5/16inch Dual-Sided Hitch Ball for BulletProof Hitches Ball Mount to the Curt Weight Distribution Shank - 12inch Long - 15-3/4inch or 16-1/4inch - 1,500 lbs TW - C17125 thanks

The BulletProof Hitches replacement ball, part # 358REPLACEMENTBALL, is designed specifically to fit BulletProof products. It may fit some others but not the Curt shank you're looking at. You can't see it in the picture on the page (There should be more added soon that will make it easier to see) but the way the ball fits with BulletProof ball mounts is inside the channel. In order for the replacement ball to fit onto the Curt shank, part # C17125, the ball needs a channel for the shank to fit into but it doesn't have one; that area of the replacement ball is solid. So there is no way for the two to fit together.

Take a look at the picture I attached that shows the replacement ball installed in a ball mount. The area highlighted in yellow shows the solid portion I'm referring to that would need to be open to fit onto the Curt shank.

In order to use the BulletProof ball and have the kind of drop the Curt shank has you need either the 16 inch drop ball mount, part # HD2016, or the 14 inch version, part # HD2014.
