Question:

What is the distance from the top of the shank to the the bottom of the ball when it is at its lowest point? A picture would be helpful. 2022 chevy 3500 crew cab.

Hi Bruce; the distance from the top of the shank to the bottom of the ball in the lowest position on the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount # BWTS20037B is 9.96". That would be with the 2-5/16" ball at the bottom. I don't have an exact picture but I attached one with the 2" ball on the bottom below.

Are you trying to see if you have enough clearance?

Yes, just trying to find out how much clearance I would have. Would it be pretty safe to say the 7 inch drop model of the same hitch would be around 13 inches?

@BruceK I just went out and measured it and on the # BWTS20040B it is 12.75" from the top of the shank to the bottom of the ball in the lowest position.

@RobinH Thank you. Im assuming these measurements were with the hitch in its lowest setting?
