Is There an Underbed 5th Wheel Hitch Option for a 2019 Ford F-150 Short Bed

Question:
I purchased a 2019 F-150 SuperCrew with 5.5 foot bed. The Ford puck system is only available on the Super Duty vehicles F-250 and F-350. My question is, if I can buy the proper under-bed supports to attach to the frame, can I use the same puck system with this hitch? One of my concerns is whether the bed floor channels are the same on an F-150 as on the Super Duty trucks, and if not then would the Companion Slider for Ford Pucks ride correctly on the bed?

I do have options for you but there would be to no way to use a Ford OEM 5th wheel hitch like the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w Slider for Ford Towing Prep Package part # BWRVK3370 on your 2019 Ford F-150 because they do not offer the correct underbed mounting system for your truck. This hitch would also not provide the needed turning clearance nor would any manual slider.
The best option I have for you is to use the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # DM8550040 with the Demco Hijacker Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails and Custom Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Hitches part # DM8552028-71. The Demco Hijacker is an auto-sliding 5th wheel hitch which means you do not have to enter and exit the truck each time you need to make a sharp turn. Unfortunately, this system uses above bed mounts but you cannot use an undermount system on your F-150 as they do not make a system compatible with the needed rotating pin box.
In order to complete your setup you may also need an in-bed trailer wiring harness, the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness part # 41157.
