Question:
This might be a stupid question I don’t know but I have a 2017 Jeep renegade sport and I wanted to know if the correct wiring came with it as well to use for brake lights for whatever I’m towing?

If there isn't a trailer wiring harness at the rear of your 2017 Jeep Renegade Sport you will need to install a harness like the Tekonsha kit part # 118561 which is confirmed as a fit for your vehicle. If you don't see any trailer wiring at the rear of your vehicle (most likely you would have if it was there) then you do need this kit. This will activate the trailers brake lights, blinkers, and running lights.
I attached an install video and a picture of what a 4-way would look like as well.
