Question:

Can I simply use the existing rubber grommets that hold my GROTE 4641 marker lights on my 1995 Trailrite trailer without switching to the plastic Optronics mounting brackets? I have the two-poleinch plugin electrical connector. Thanks,

The Optronics Clearance/Side Marker Light, part # AL91RB, will mount in the rubber grommets that your Grote 4641 lights are installed in. I looked it up in the industry cross reference for lighting and it listed the # AL91RB light as fitting in your grommets.

The rubber grommet we offer for the # AL91RB light is the Optronics Flush Mount Grommet, part # A91GB. This is a rubber grommet that is used when mounting the light flush to the trailer. It measures 3-5/16 inches long x 1-15/16 inches wide x 1/2-inch deep. It is open in the back for plugging in the standard two-prong plug.
