Today we're going to take a look at the chrome accent ring for the Optronics STL78 and BUL78 LED series trailer lights. This is a snap-on chrome accent ring for the STL78 and BUL78 series LED lights. It's a nice polished, chrome plated finish on this ring. Greatly improves the looks of the LED series lights, and it is a snap-on feature of this cover. Makes it real easy to install, keeps it firmly in place. Give you a few dimensions on this. We're going to do the overall length from this edge to this edge. You can see, it's going to be right at 7 7/8 inches long.
The width on it from the very bottom to the very top is right at 3 5/8 inches wide. It's about a 1/2 inch in depth. Now what I want to do is I happened to pull here's the STL78 LED series trailer light, and here's the BUL78 series light. I just wanted to show you when you install these you can see here's your four mounting points. Right where those are, there's a little indentation. All you have to do is take your snap-on ring, set it right over there, push it right into place.
There you can see, it gives a nice clean finish. Covers up the mounting holes. You can do the same on the BUL78 series. Same way it has the mounting holes with the little indentations. Just go ahead and take your chrome ring, and it pops right over there. Gives you a nice finished look to your trailer. That should do it for the review on the chrome accent ring for the Optronics STL78 and BUL78 LED series trailer lights..

Obviously, the new ones look great. However, they don't fit as snugly around the replacement lights as the old ones fit on the old lights.

Product looks great attached to the lights, small diameter and low profile screws need to used to avoid clearance issues when snapping to light, one latch clip on two of the four trim rings I ordered were bent back, fixed with some super glue. Two more clips broke while trying to remove the trim ring from the light also fixed by superglue, not very durable clips, the trim plastic is light and shinny remains to be seen how durable they will be in the elements

After replacing the tail lights, and then being bright and shiny, the obvious choice was to finish them off with these chrome beauty rims. The entire installation was handled by myself. 73 year-old old woman on my NuCamp trailer. I couldn’t be happier after struggling for years, trying to get the parts from NuCamp.
