Troubleshooting Gorilla-Lift Ramp Spring Where One Side of Ramp is Higher Than Other
Updated 04/03/2019 | Published 04/02/2019 >
Question:
I have the dual sided lift. My problem is that one side lifts about 1.5/2s of the ground. If I use just the two smaller inner springs I dont get the lift needed so I have one large and one small. Of course the large spring side is off the ground. What can I do so that it doesnt warp the gate? Thanks for any help

Are you using the same spring settings on both sides of the Gorilla Lift part # GL1 that you have? If you aren't that would explain why the one side is higher than the other. To adjust spring pressure for lifting the tailgate Gorilla Lift recommends using different heights for attaching the springs to the tailgate. You should make sure both are attached at same height.
