The Gorilla-Lift Utility Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist w/ Cable - 300 lbs # GL1 is a great system that I highly recommend because it utilizes stainless steel cables with sturdy springs to assist each side of the tailgate evenly to prevent warping. I've attached a couple videos as well as the link to the item's page for purchase. This makes raising and lowering your tailgate easy and controlled.
