Question:

2006 Jeep Commander Limited, 5.7 Hemi. Does this awning come with all parts to install to the standard roof rack on the Jeep. Does it involve any modification? How many people necessary to install?

To install the Thule HideAway Awning # TH490010 on the roof rack of your 2006 Jeep Commander Limited you will need the Roof Rack Adapters # TH490001. The adapters have a max crossbar width of 3-1/2" and the crossbar must be within 11/16" - 1-3/8" tall or you can you use the included T-Bolts if your crossbars have T-Slots.

You won't have to modify anything to install the awning and it is recommended for 2 people to install it.

Please note that the HideAway Awning that you referenced is 10' long x 8' wide. If this is a little too long for your Jeep then we also have the part # TH490008 which is 8-1/2' long x 6-1/2' wide. This will need the same adapters.
