It had an awning like the Thule HideAway Awning # TH490011 attached and the brackets used looked custom made by the RV manufacturer. The mounts were similar to the Thule HideAway Awning Adapter # TH308960 as they do get drilled into the van. Be sure to check with your Winnebago dealer as well as I do see that they offered it with an awning from Carefree of Colorado.

  Broadly speaking the difference between the two Thule Hideaway kits is that the # TH490011 is a flat mount that attaches to the side of an RV like you need whereas the part # TH490010 is for attaching to a roof rack. There are several smaller details between the two that are different so that each application fits as best as it can so you are correct they are slightly different. The brackets you ordered will show up. There's no reason why the kit would show up incomplete.
