Question:

My family is looking at purchasing a 2011 Ford E-350 van, and we already have yakima sky box and 2 raptor aero bike carriers. See that the rhino roof rack has the most capacity of those that will fit, can a rhino roof rack accept the mounting of yakima accessories such as the sky box and the raptor aero?

I would first check the owners manual or with the Ford dealer on the roof capacity of your Ford E-350 Van. A roof rack may have a higher load capacity than your Ford Van, and you will be limited to the lowest weight capacity between the vehicles roof or the roof rack.

The Rhino-Rack Roof Rack, part # RL150S10, will work on a 2011 Ford E-350 Van with the # RB1800 square crossbars. Your SkyBox will attach to the crossbars and then use the Yakima Universal Mighty Mounts, # Y03590, to attach the Raptor roof bike racks.

I checked with Yakima and they only show a roof rack for up to 2009 Ford E-350 Van.

I have the Thule TracRac, part # TH29055XT, that will fit your 2011 Ford van. It features square cross bars that the Yakima SkyBox and Yakima Raptor will attach to.

This rack that has a 500-lb carrying capacity, but you will need to go by the roof capacity as your limit. It has 2 crossbars 1-1/2 inches tall and 3 inches wide, see attached drawing. The Yakima SkyBox will attach to the crossbars, but you will want to use the Yakima Universal MightyMounts, # Y03590, to attach your Yakima Raptor bike carriers to these cross bars also.
