There is a photo available showing what the Curt Trailer Hitch # C11535 will look like when installed on a 2016 Acura TLX, which is from the linked installation instructions for this hitch.

The crosstube does show with the Curt hitch so if you were looking for a hitch that had a concealed crosstube you will need the Draw-Tite # 24942; I have added a photo we did from an install of this hitch on a '16 TLX so you can take a look at the difference.

Each of these hitches is a Class I with a 1-1/4" receiver and have a 200 lb tongue weight capacity and 2,000 lb towing capacity. Neither of the hitches will require drilling into your Acura's frame and each comes with a lifetime warranty.

I have also added a link to a video showing an install of hte Draw-Tite # 24942 for you to take a look at.

Hi, is this 100% accurate about the cross tube being visible on the 2017 TLX? If so, are there any disadvantages to this, and is Draw Tite equally good quality? Thx!

@Matt Both hitches are equally good. The difference is purely aesthetic. If you like the visible cross tube or not. Most would prefer not to see it.

@JamesonC agreed, I feel like this was not visible on my 2012 TSX (not sure hitch brand used.). How would you compare difficulty of Installs between the two brands featured here?

@Matt Draw Tite will take a bit longer to me it's worth it for the nicer look. Neither are particularly difficult.
