For a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 5-1/2 foot bed we do have the Curt gooseneck hitch # C615-632 as a confirmed fit but the B and W Turnoverball # BWGNRK1057 that you referenced only fits the 6-1/2 foot bed version of your truck. The 8 foot bed versions require the part # BWGNRK1007 instead.
I attached an install video for the Curt hitch on a similar Silverado as yours as well.
