Does Spray-In Liner Change Measurement When Installing Gooseneck Hitch On 2009 GMC Sierra
Updated 12/01/2014 | Published 11/29/2014 >
Question:
I have a spray-in bed liner on my short bed gmc 1500, will the measurement be different than what is specified in the instructions?

Expert Reply:
Since the measurement needed when installing the Underbed Gooseneck Hitch, part # C615-632 requires you to measure from the rear of the truck bed, you will need to make sure you measure the distance taking into account the spray liner if it is on the back edge of the truck bed.
If it is 1/8 of an inch you need to add that 1/8 inch to the measurement for the 4 inch hole to be drilled in the truck bed.
