I am considering the purchase of a 2019 GMC Acadia Denali with adaptive cruise control. We will flat tow the Acadia behind our class A RV I need to know that I can flat tow with the key off in neutral with odometer not adding the towed miles. Will the steering wheel remain unlocked with the key off. Thank you

The 2019 GMC Acadia Denali can be flat towed if it is the 3.6L V6. You do not need to be concerned about adding miles while towing. The wheel will remain unlocked with the key off when you follow the instructions for towing outlined in the owners manual.
The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX1728 is the base plate kit that I recomend. I recommend the Demco Excali-Bar III Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates - RV Mount - 2" Hitch # DM9511013-BX for a great fit that includes the safety cables and integrated high low adapter.
For your wiring I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 which will utilize your factory lights while protecting it. I've attached a video to help further.
For your supplemental braking, I recommend the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251. This is a favorite because the system only requires a flip of a switch to go from towing mode to driving mode with no other adjustments required.
