Axle Replacement Recommendation for 2011 PJ Tilt Trailer with 3,500 lb Axle
Published 01/29/2019 >
Question:
Hello, Im looking to replace one axle on a 2011 PJ tilt deck with 3,500 pound axles, 10inch x 2.25inch brakes. The axles on this trailer match all the measurements for the 7359765, and the bearing numbers are the same. The only difference I see is that the original axle appears to be a different style of easy lube or another brand of axle all together? The grease zerks on my spindles are offset and the axle nut is locked with a cotter pin. My question is, can I use this axle beam, reuse my hubs and brakes, and just get the proper axle nut with the push on retaining clip?

Yes, you can use the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with E-Z Lube Spindles # 7359765 as a replacement for what you have. This actually comes with it's own lock washer and nut too so you wouldn't have to try and reuse what you have or source a new setup all together. Your current hub/drums and assemblies will easily transfer to this.
