Question:

I am a single mother and was looking for the best tie down for the Curt cargo carrier C18100 and Curt cargo bag C18210. Something quick and not requiring much strength. Thanks in advance!

Tie-down straps can certainly be added to the Curt Cargo Bag # C18210 that you referenced for even more security but one of the great things about this particular bag is that it actually features 6 integrated straps that are designed to hold it in place inside a cargo basket like the excellent Curt # C18100 that you also mentioned. This means you don't need to add any straps if you don't want to as the bag comes ready to mount out of the box.

You can feed the integrated straps through the pre-drilled holes on the sides of this basket or through openings in the grated platform. Then simply tighten the straps using their sturdy buckles.

If you wanted to add additional straps a good easy-to-use and economical option is with the etrailer.com Cam Buckle Cinch Straps # E98876-4. These durable and abrasion-resistant straps feed through the buckles so that you can cinch them around the bag for a secure and tight attachment. Four straps are included.
