Review of etrailer Tie Down Straps E98876-4

Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at the etrailer.com Cam Buckle Cinch Straps. Now, cinching tie downs let you secure a variety of items to your cargo carrier or roof rack. These kinds of tie downs are really great just to have on hand. You can also use them to secure things on your trailer or in your truck bed. And again, they are great for cargo carriers, roof racks .. I've seen people use these in the marine industry as well, with securing things to their boat or to a marine trailer ...

camping. They're just very versatile straps. They're always great to have on hand. This is a 4-pack. We're looking at a die-cast zinc alloy cam buckle. Ours is orange in color, and so that's just highly visible.

It's easy to see. It's easy to operate, as well. This cam lock buckle is the mechanism that holds the strap tight over your gear. So the plain end of the strap feeds through the buckle, and you'd wanna do this, you know, after you place this around or over your cargo. Feed it through the buckle, and then the buckle has these little teeth in it, but it always allows you to pull the slack out of the strap.

And the cam lock design prevents back feeding, so you cannot pull it back through, unless you press the release level. You press the release lever, and then it loosens up, so that way you can loosen and then completely remove the strap. But it's nice, it's easy to use. We're looking at durable, abrasion-resistant, polyester webbing on the strap, and then we also have this really neat feature. This is a neoprene buckle cover that goes over that cam lock buckle and protects your vehicle, gear, and any cargo that you might have from getting scratched or damaged. We also have the built-in elastic ribbon that keeps your straps neatly rolled up when they're not in use. Now, each strap measures one inch wide by 13 feet long.

Safe working load limit is 293 pounds per strap. Maximum load or break strength is 880 pounds per strap. And again, this is a 4-pack.That's gonna do it for today's look at the etrailer.com Cam Buckle Cinch Straps.
