Hey there. Looking to get a hitch for my 2018 Ford Explorer and there are several. Are they different? Can you recommend one? Thanks.

The Draw-Tite Class III # 76034, the etrailer.com # e98867, and the Curt # C13386 trailer hitches that are available for your 2018 Ford Explorer all feature an extremely similar design and will mount using the same existing holes on the vehicle's frame.
The primary difference between the three models are their weight capacities, which is why I recommend the Draw-Tite # 76034. It features the highest towing capacity of 4,500 pounds and tongue weight limit of 675 pounds, indicating a stronger unit that has been tested to higher standards than the other two models.
I have attached an installation video of this hitch on your 2018 Ford Explorer that you can also use for reference.

Hello I’m looking to order a trailer hitch and wiring set up. I’m buying a boat but my 2018 explorer isn’t equipped with a towing package. I’ve seen the Draw-tote #76034 is the best one to get for my vehicle since it has the highest towing capacity, does wiring come with this hitch or is there extra wiring I have to get so I can hook up a trailer.
