Question:
I watched the installation of the passenger side in the video. Is removal of the slide on mirror easy? Does the set screw mark up your existing mirror? Thank you.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The CIPA Custom Slip-On Towing Mirror Set # CM10950 which fits various 2014 through 2019 GMC and Chevy trucks will not mark up your OEM mirror housing. The compatible shape of OEM mirror that these fit is shown in the linked photo, just for reference.
These CIPA mirrors have a custom shape designed to exactly match (or mirror!) the shape of the housings on your factory mirrors. This very close match means that only a little bit of tension on the set screw/knob is needed to secure the mirrors to the vehicle but they will slip off easily once you release the knob tension.
You can check out our customers' reviews of these mirrors - there are hundreds of them that are linked for you - that indicate their solid fit and reliable performance.
