Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our tow smart hitch receiver locking pin with locking cap. It's for half inch and five eighth inch diameter and it's a stainless steel construction. So folks, this will fit most inch and a quarter and two inch hitch receiver tubes. And the reason it can do that is because once you unlock this, take the dust cap cover off, insert the key and unlock it. You've got a sleeve here.
So that sleeve is what's gonna fill the gap between this area here. So if you use it like this, it would be for a one and a quarter inch. And that's that half inch diameter pin. And if you put the sleeve on that makes it a five eighth inch pin, which fits the two inch by two inch receivers. Now the usable length between these, no matter what the color on or off is the same.
It is two and three quarter inches usable length, and overall it's five and a half inches long. So again, folks, a nice little tube to put over there. Once you put it in, you just lock it back up, put the dust cap on, keep out the dirt, debris, the moisture, and you're all set. Two keys included. My van has an integrated hitch receiver built into the bumper. This makes it hard to find a proper fitting locking pin, but this pin fit like a glove.
