Best B&W Tow & Stow for a 2018 Ford F-350

Question:

I have a 2018 F350 Super Duty, with no lift on it, just factory height. My current BandW hitch only has the 3inch on it and this is not enough to accommodate my little utility trailer and I cannot pull it at level. Would the 5 inch be enough to fix my situation, or should I go all the way to the 7 inch ? I also have a horse trailer to pull as well with this hitch. Thank you.

In order to find out how much of a drop you need to look for in a ball mount, you will need to measure from the ground to the top of the inside edge on your trailer hitch and then from the ground to the bottom of the trailer coupler on your trailer while level. If you subtract the trailer height measurement from the hitch that will give you the amount of drop you need to look for in a ball mount. I recommend doing this for both trailers.

Please note that the B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount is also offered with a 2-1/2" shank, part # BWTS20048C for 5" drop and part # BWTS20049C for 7" drop. The 2-1/2" version is only offered with a chrome finish.
