Recommended Ball Mount for a 2019 GMC Sierra 1500

Question:

What would be a good Ball Mount length to use for me to pull a 7x12 twin axle Stealth trailer rated for 7000lb towing capacity. I have a 2019 GMC 1500 Sierra that I will be towing with. Should I use 8 1/2, 10 1/2 or a longer ball mount. I will be towing maybe 2000lbs at the most.

The length of the ball mount is not really something that you need to make note of for towing in most cases unless you have a recessed hitch but you will need to note the rise/drop. That said, I can only imagine you may need to tow a different trailer at some point in time so the best option we can offer you is an adjustable ball mount with multiple hitch balls. I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount part # BWTS10048B because it has a hidden hitch ball design that no other ball mount on the market has and it comes with everything you need to tow multiple different trailers. The distance from the center of hitch pin hole to center of hitch ball is 9-1/4" or 10 2/5" which is more than most so this should work well for you in multiple different applications.
