I need a bike rack that will work with my 2018 Subaru Outback. What do you recommend?

The best bike rack for your 2018 Subaru Outback will depend on what the distance is from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of your rear bumper.
I highly recommend the Saris Freedom # SA4412B because at less than 30 lbs it is extremely lightweight but still has a 60 lb per bike capacity. It also comes with an anti-rattle hitch lock. This bike rack is also versatile due to the fact it will fit both a 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch hitch.
Stability won't be a concern when using the Freedom because of its included anti-rattle hitch lock and the ratcheting padded cradle that grips your bikes by the frame, which works in conjunction with the ratcheting wheel straps that are on both wheel trays. These features ensure that you won't have to look out your rearview mirror and see your bikes bouncing around.
