We do have everything you need so that you can tow with your 2018 Toyota Highlander. Manufacturers sometimes offer a "tow package" but it is sometimes just some wiring and other times it includes a trailer hitch as well.

For your application I recommend going with the Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch # DT65MR because it is the strongest trailer hitch and will fit with a full-size spare on your Highlander.

Then for wiring if you have the factory tow package (there is a converter under your dash) then the Curt T-Connector # 56042 is the way to go. If you don't have the factory tow package then I recommend going with the Tekonsha T-One # 118449 wiring kit instead. Either of these gives you the basic trailer light functions that is found on smaller trailers.

If you will be towing a larger trailer that utilizes brakes then you will also need to install the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7 so that you can use a brake controller. Then for a brake controller I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR because of the variety of places you can install it and how it can be mounted out of the way. This controller has proportional and user-control modes for the best towing experience out there.

To complete your towing kit you also need a ball mount, hitch ball, and a hitch pin & clip. I really like the etrailer.com Ball Mount Kit # 989900 because it comes with both a 1-7/8" ball and a 2" ball as well as 2 ball mounts. One offers a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. Check out the linked article on ball mounts to help determine if this kit has the correct rise/drop for your towing application.

I have also linked some review/installation videos for you to reference.
