Question:

Can you recommend a rear axle air spring kit for my 2018 Ram 1500 quad cab? I don't need super heavy duty springs. I mostly haul between 800 and 1500-lbs. But I notice some sag and that is what I want to fix.

For your 2018 Ram 1500 Quad cab I suggest the medium-duty AirLift 1000HD Air Helper Spring kit # AL60818HD. This coil helper spring kit fits both 2WD and 4WD trucks and provides up to 2100-lbs of rear-axle load leveling support for your cargo application.

There are lighter-duty kits like # AL60818 (rated for 1000-lbs) and heavier-duty kits like # AL88365 (rated for 5000-lbs) but the 1000HD kit # AL60818HD will be right in the sweet spot for your cargo hauling needs.

To help you get the most benefit from the air springs I recommend an on-board compressor to automate pressure control. Having a compressor means no pulling over into a service station or to grab your portable air tank or add or remove air from the springs. An in-cab compressor # AL25592 lets you tweak the spring air pressure to fit the particular load you're hauling. Finding just the right pressure is very easy with a compressor and this lets you conveniently balance load support and ride quality.
