im looking for a towbar and d ring adapters to use on my jeep bumper. whats the minimum width between mounting points on the towed vehicle side? any recommendations on towbar for a 2012 jeep jku? i have to use d ring mounts.

For your 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we have two options for base plate kits to attach to the D-rings of your bumper. We have the part # RM-035 which is the correct fit if you have 3/4 inch D-rings or the part # RM-035-1 which fits if you have 1 inch D-rings.
You'll need to use a Roadmaster tow bar with this like the part # RM-520 as the Curt you referenced is not compatible.
