Fuse Bypass Function for Flat Towing on 2016 Chevy Equinox

Question:
Your video says by installing RM 76517 the battery will not drain while towing. Does just removing the fuse keep the battery from draining or not?

The Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass Switch for Towed Vehicles - 50-Amp FMX Fuse # RM-76517 that you referenced is designed to make flat towing vehicles that require fuses be pulled a much easier option than pulling the fuse. Fuses can sometimes be challenging to access and remove. Plus then you have to keep track of it. So what this does is allow you to simply flip a switch and it's all taken care of. I attached an install video for this kit on a 2016 Chevy Equinox just like yours as well.
