I need a hitch for my 2018 CRV. I have the foot sensor for the rear hatch and want it to still work

I recommend the etrailer.com hitch receiver, part # E98848, because I like how the receiver tube is all you see under the bumper. The cross tube is completely hidden. It's also less expensive than some of the others available.
All of the hitches we carry are going to interfere with the automatic liftgate to some extent. The etrailer hitch I recommend certainly will but there is a sensor relocation kit you can get from Honda to move the liftgate sensor. Another option is the Draw-Tite hitch, part # 76128, which will partically block the sensor but you can still open the liftgate by placing your foot to the sides instead of in the middle of the vehicle.
