Yes, the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700 referenced in your question will fit and work well with your 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This is a really nice system that will give you real-time braking in the Wrangler. The actuator box installs permanently so there is no need for removal or adjustments as you transition from flat towing to everyday driving with the Jeep (and vice versa).
I have attached an installation video on a later model Jeep Wrangler that you can also use for reference.
If you are using a lighting solution that taps into the Jeeps wiring then you will also need to add the Brake Lite Relay # RM-88400. This is needed so that the Jeep's brake signal doesn't override the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn.
