Question:

Roadtrek Spare Tire Bike Rack im looking for a bike rack that can mount on the roadtrek down spare tire, but i want to mount the bike vertically. many mount horizontally, but i have not seen one vertical. i need vertical because the RT spare tire is mounted so far left of center. see attached photo. thanks

There is not a bike rack that will fit a spare tire that loads the bike vertically as you stated without an adapter. The Softride Hang 2 # SR27041 is the closest to what I think you are looking for, but you would need to add an extension like # C45795 for that application. I recommend using a cable lock like # e98891 to secure your bikes. I've attached measurements to assist as well as a video.

You may alternatively be interested in the Thule Spare Me 2 Bike Rack - Spare Tire Mount - Folding Dual Arms # TH963PRO because it will allow you to mount the bike rack offset 4 inches to the left or 4 inches to the right of center. This will give you a little more room.
