Best Shank Recommendation for Giving Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution Best Ground Clearance
Published 08/10/2018 >
Question:
I have a SwayPro WDH which I love. The one problem I have with it is is ground clearance. I have the seven hole shank that I have to run in ped position so the bottom of the shank gives me very low ground clearance. The top of the hitch head is bolted into the hole level with the horizontal member of the shank see attached picture. It appears that I could replace the seven hold shank with BXW4017, Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution Shank for 2inch Hitches - 12inch Long - 2 Hole Adjustment . Can you confirm that this combination is compatible and that the hitch head would be in pretty much the same position as with the seven hole hitch? Thanks!

The Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution Shank # BXW4017 would be a great solution for you. Based on the picture you sent in you are currently using the height setting that the # BXW4017 provides so this shank would be an excellent solution.
