Question:

In the description it says the exterior of the jack is anodized aluminum, is the weld plate steel or do I need an aluminum welder to attach it?

The Fulton F2 Swing-Up Jack w/ Pivoting Footplate - 5" Frame, Weld On # F1413200334 has a cast steel mounting plate. The rounded part of the jack is aluminum but other components are steel like the swivel housing according to my contact at Fulton.

If you want to avoid welding, you can use # F1413040134 which will fit 3x3 and 3x4 inch tongues. The 4 and 5 inch frames require # F1413140334.
