Is Wiring Needed To Install Brake Controller on 2011 Chevrolet Silverado Z71

Question:
Is there a brake that will just plug up to the brake kit inside the truck instead of having to wire them myself. According to this one I am actually putting the wires together not just plugging in something. Do you have one you can just plug in. I have a 2011 Chevy Silverado Z71. Do you need a wiring harness or is it included with this kit?

On the 2011 Chevrolet Silverado Z71, the wiring for the brake controller is already ran and bundled underneath the dashboard on the driver side. This wiring may be taped together and tucked up and out of the way. There is not a plug-in wiring harness or brake controller port to plug into.
In addition to connecting the brake control wires, there are 2 wires underneath the hood that will need to be connected (see FAQ).
If your 2011 Silverado does not have a factory 7-way, you will also need to install Pollak Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, part # PK11916 (video install linked).
You should not need additional wiring to install brake controller.
