Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the KAT5 multi-connection battery terminal. Now this is gonna be what we consider a three-gang. So you're gonna have three different terminals here to help manage multiple electrical connections, whether it's power inverters, lighting, auxiliary electrical equipment, those kind of things. And what's nice is you can simply unthread this plastic keeper here and now you have individual spots where you can put ring terminals for those other connections.
And then, of course, this will go over the power post on the battery that you're using for your main battery. And then, you're gonna have three for each one, positive and negative. Now this will work with 12 all the way to 48-volt system configurations. It is a zinc construction, so it's gonna improve the conductivity over those traditional lead battery terminals, but it's also gonna help with the weight. It's a little bit lighter weight.
And, like I mentioned, these are wing nuts, and they are color coded, and they're also gonna be insulated with the makeup of 'em. Now the connection points, these bolts that are in here, threaded, those are stainless steel, so that's gonna give you corrosion resistance and those kind of things as far as longevity. So a great option for you. Works with marine, RV, camper, automotive batteries, those kind of things. And this is the three-gang, KAT5 multi-connection battery terminals.
